Am Samstag, den 23. Juni findet um 18.00 Uhr im Sozialen Zentrum eine Info- und Mobilisierungsveranstaltung zum No Border Camp Köln/Düsseldorf 2012 statt. Eine ähnliche Veranstaltung wird am 15. Juni um 19.00 Uhr im Taranta Babu, Humboldtstraße 44 in Dortmund angeboten. Die Einladung: »Zehn Tage campen im Sommer mit Demonstrationen, kreativen Aktionen, Workshops, Diskussionen …: Vom 13. bis 22. Juli wird in Köln ein No Border Camp stattfinden, bei dem sich ein aktionistischer Fokus auf den Flughafen Düsseldorf als Scharnier der europäischen Abschiebemaschinerie richten wird. Das Camp soll ein Raum sein, um sich gemeinsam und in verschiedenen Formen mit (Sammel-)Abschiebungen, Frontex, Antiziganismus, Alltagsrassismus und rechten Diskursen zu beschäftigen und Widerstand zu leisten, mit institutionellem Rassismus, den katastrophalen Lebensbedingungen von Flüchtlingen und Migrant_innen und den Kämpfen dagegen, mit (Neo-)Kolonialismus und Fluchtursachen oder der mörderischen Situation an den Außengrenzen und vielen weiteren Themen.
Auch möchte das Camp ein Ort sein, an dem Rassismuskritik, antifaschistische, feministische und kapitalismuskritische Perspektiven zusammen gedacht werden. Ein Ort, um miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen und neue Bündnisse einzugehen, in denen die Kämpfe von Flüchtlingen und Persons of Color mit denen rassismuskritischer weißer Menschen zusammenkommen.
Der Mobi-/Infoabend soll einen Einblick in die Themen und Ziele des No Border Camps geben sowie den aktuellen Stand der Campplanung und Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten vorstellen.

Information and Mobilisation Evening
on the 2012 No Border Camp Cologne / Düsseldorf
Ten days of camping in the summer, with demonstrations, creative actions, workshops, discussions …: From 13 to 22 July, a No Border Camp will take place in Cologne, during which, among other things, actions will focus on the airport in Düsseldorf as a hub of the European deportation machinery.
The camp is intended to be a space to deal together and in various forms with, and to resist, (collective) deportations, Frontex, antiziganism, everyday racism and far-right discourses, institutional racism, intolerable living conditions of refugees and migrants and their struggles against them, (neo-)colonialism and reasons of flight as well as the murderous situation at the external borders and many other subjects.
In addition, the camp is meant to be a place where antiracism, antifascist and feminist perspectives and critical perspectives on capitalism are thought together. A place to enter into conversation with one another and form new alliances, where struggles of refugees and people of colour meet with those of racism-critical white people.
The mobilisation / information evening intends to provide some insight into the topics and aims of the No Border Camp as well as in the current state of the planning for the No Border Camp and possibilities of participation.«
